Artist' Statement & History

I became interested in photography in 1978 having purchased my first camera, a Canon SLR. I did not know how operate it, or know any of the basic skills In 1980 I enrolled in a beginners photography class at the New School. I was hooked immediately after taking and developing my first roll of film. The learning curve and the challenge to excel in the art has never ceased to intrigue me. After 26 years utilizing film and Darkroom, I embarked on the journey of learning how to capture images digitally and now can present them in mediums of color or monochrome. the voyage of learning and discovery is never ending.
